What is bribery? The act of taking or receiving something with the intention of influencing the recipient in some way favorable to the party providing the bribe.

Anyone who gives a public servant money or other valuables in exchange for services in a specified way or any public servant who accepts money or other valuables to act in a specified way is guilty of bribery.

THE NORQUIST PLEDGE AND THOSE WHO SIGNED IT IS PRIMA FACIE EVIDENCE OF BRIBERY. Prima facie evidence is a legal term used to mean that you have enough evidence to prove something by pointing to some basic facts.
