ARTICLE 1, SECTION 8, OF THE CONSTITUTION GAVE CONGRESS THREE BOTTLES OF GLUE: the power to tax, the power to borrow; and most important, the power to create new money and regulate the value thereof;

Section 8 – Powers of Congress

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow money on the credit of the United States;

To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;

To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

*** To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures; WHY NOT USE THIS LEG OF A THREE-LEGGED STOOL TO SOLVE AMERICA’S ECONOMIC PROBLEMS? WHY USE ONLY A TWO-LEGGED STOOL? TRY SITTING ON A TWO-LEGGED STOOL, STUPID!

Congress should authorize the Treasury Department to create new money each year to fund the building and re-building of the infrastructure; and give each state new money to fund new programs. The states gave up their power to create money when they joined the union. New money to the states, Social  Security,  and Universal Health Care are the glue that will hold the union together. New ideas will make it come true.

The economic assets of America consists of more than one year of GDP or GNP. The economics assets of America are more like 213 trillion dollars. Multiply 14.6 times 14.6 that will give you a more accurate number. The total assets of the Federal Government is a quadrillion dollars. The deficit is a National Joke of small minded people.
