IRAN, TWO QUESTIONS: WHAT HAS IRAN EVER DONE TO AMERICA AND WHAT HAS AMERICA EVER DONE TO IRAN?

Answer to first question, when President Carter allowed the Shah to come from Mexico into America for cancer treatment, Iran took our embassy personnel hostage and held some of them for over one year. Answer to second question, America occupied Iran with thousand of troops during World War Two in order to supply 80 divisions of Russia troops with food and military supplies. Due to the narrow streets of Iran, military trucks ran over hundreds of people, which  were treated no different than running over  dogs.  In 1948 when Israel declared statehood, President Truman took only eleven minutes to recognize Israel, which has been a Fly in Ointment ever since in Middle East  relations.  In 1953 a CIA Coup over threw an elected government of Iran and replaced it with the Shah. During the Eight Year War (1980 to 1988)  between Iraq and Iran, America and France supplied Saddam Hussein  with military supplies that killed over one million people of Iran.

Iran has many more reasons for not liking America than America has for not liking Iran.

Now is the time for America and Iran to forget the past and establish a good and mutual relationship and not one of exploitation and manipulation. America should be friends with all the countries of the Middle East, which would be in best interest of all, including Israel.

If  Congress rejects the Iran Nuclear deal, it will push Iran into the arms of Russia who will supply Iran with the military weapons that Iran needs to shoot down any attempt Israel makes to take out Iran’s nuclear program. Israel may bite off more than she can chew.

SCIENCE OF ECONOMICS (The numbers below were first published in 1991 when GNP was six trillion dollars, to correct for today’s GNP multiply by 3.0)

There is not a science of economics because economists do not understand sixth grade arithmetic and Nature’s Basic Law of Economics. The economy is a result of the balance or imbalance between people resources, natural resources and money.
Apply Nature’s Basic Law of Economics and sixth-grade arithmetic. One sees: GNP of $6,000,000,000,000 (six trillion dollars).
1% of $6,000,000,000,000 = 60 billion dollars.

1% rise in the price of goods and services = decrease in the money supply by 60 billion dollars.

10% inflation = goods and services costing 600 billion dollars more; 600 billion dollar decrease in the money supply.

Result: 600 billion dollars worth of goods and services cannot be exchanged. Further results: Unemployment and decline in the GNP.

To maintain balance, the government must increase the money supply: 1% increase in inflation of a $6,000,000,000,000 (six trillion dollar) GNP requires a 60 billion dollar increase in the money supply or the equivalent amount required to exchange 60 billion dollars of goods and services.
