This new department would keep the consumer informed on what prices should be so consumers could act together to keep prices fair; and keep inflation from devaluing the money supply . Inflation is an euphemism for theft or greed. With the communication system that we now have, people can say no to big oil prices and supermarkets. They could buy only one gallon at a time of gasoline if the price is over three dollars per gallon, or not pay more than three dollars for a gallon of milk. It is time for the people to have real power by deciding what they are not going to pay. Businesses do not have the right to rob people out of their money with a price marker.
