Adam Smith , 18th-century philosopher and political economist, the Father of Capitalism, thought that CAPITAL was the number one factor in the production and distribution of goods and services. Karl Marx, 19th-century philosopher and political economist, the Father of Socialism, thought that LABOR was the number one factor in the production and distribution of goods and services. James Carroll, 21st-century philosopher and political economist, the Father of Mixturism, believes that there are three factors: Natural Resources being number one , Labor number two, and Capital number three in the production and distribution of goods and services.
Mixturism embraces Nature’s Basic Law of Economics which states: there are two kinds of resources people and natural ; and that all goods and services flow from the action of people resources on natural resources; and that money is the medium of exchange of which there should always be a balanced supply to exchange the goods and service that people’s hands and minds can produce.
James Carroll believes that Section 8, of Article 1, of the Constitution of the United States of America gives Congress three ways to raise all the money needed to maximize the production and distribution of goods and services, the real wealth of a nation.
Mixturism is the rational economic, ethical, and political philosophy for the 21st century and beyond. Businesses , governments, and people working together to meet the needs and desires of all. Public and Private enterprise recognizes that each has a right to exist, and working separately or together for the good of all.
George Bernard Shaw said that, ”Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” Why anyone with a college degree, even from Podunk Alabama Possum Log College, cannot see that Section 8, of Article !, of the Constitution gives Congress three ways to raise money is a mind boggle.
Social Security cannot go broke unless something happens to natural resources and people resources. If there are adequate natural resources and people resources to produce the goods and services that people need, money can be created to make up any deficit. Social Security is goods and services, not money.
Medicare cannot go broke as long as there are adequate doctors, nurses, hospitals, medicines, care-givers and many other workers. Money can instantly be created. Building a hospital, training workers, and research can take years.
WHY CAN’T CONGRESS GET THEIR MINDS OUT OF THE LOCKED MONEY BOX? I WISH THERE WERE A GOD SO I COULD ASK HER! Tell me God, why would congress lock their minds in a money box? Oh! thank you God, that’s what I thought! They are stupid as hell, and so is the News Media! Forgive the News Media, God. They are so blind that they can’t see that Grover Norquist and those who signed his pledge are guilty of blatant bribery.
Congress should authorize the Treasury Department to create new money each year to fund the building and re-building of the infrastructure; and give each state new money to fund new programs. The states gave up their power to create money when they joined the union. New Money to the states and Universal Health Care is the glue that will hold the union together. New ideas will make it come true.
