MARCHING IS NOT THE FUTURE FOR PROTESTING, BUT ECONOMIC LEVERAGE IS…

People power price control is an example of having a protest that counts; by using economic or political leverage against those who are in the position to make change, to use the leverage of numbers that can be put together on the internet or other sources. Whether the leverage be for wage increases, price controls, or political injustices we can make a change.

Since America is now controlled by collective monopolies, it is very easy to apply economic and political pressure to these corporations because they can be targeted one at a time without the people having to punish themselves. Individual items, that these corporations manufacture and sell, or its entire line of products can be boycotted by just buying on the other side of the street.

This is the idea; it can be expanded, organized, and put into action by millions of people simultaneously.

A COLLECTIVE MONOPOLY IS ONE OF FEWER THAN TEN CORPORATIONS WHICH CONTROL MORE THAN 90 % OF A COMMODITY OR SERVICE. EXXON MOBIL, Wal-Mart SUPERMARKETS, AND BANK OF AMERICA ARE GOOD EXAMPLES: BIG OIL, BIG BANK, AND BIG FOOD.

Keep thumbing your nose at Exxon Mobil until the prices of all three grades of gasoline fall below three dollars per gallon, and then go back to buying Exxon Mobil. We are PEOPLE POWER PRICE CONTROL. WE ARE THE MARKET.

Consumers are the market. We have the power to control prices. We do not have to do any marching. We do not have to do any sit-ins. We do not have to occupy anything. We just have to watch what we buy and from whom we buy it. We are more powerful than the biggest collective monopoly. We can target them one at a time. We do not have to punish ourselves. The rest will get the message. THINK ABOUT IT. WE HAVE THE POWER. WE DON’T EVEN NEED A SLING-SHOT TO CONTROL THE PRICES OF THESE GIANTS.

Only about 25 % of a 42 gallon barrel of oil is made into gasoline. There are thousands of products made from oil: asphalt, drugs, tires, plastics, etc… There is no reason to change oil prices every day regardless of what OPEC does. Some products made from oil, a gallon can cost more than a barrel of oil. THE TARGET IS EXXON MOBIL. Gas prices should be less than three dollars per gallon.

If a bank pays one percent for money and sells it for twelve percent on a credit card, that is a gross profit of 1200 %. It is like a store paying one dollar for a bar of candy and selling it for twelve dollars. The bank buys and sells money. THE TARGET IS BANK OF AMERICA. Interest should be less than five percent on all credit cards.

The shelf price of food at the supermarket doesn’t always match the higher price at the check-out lane. Don’t buy it when they say it is a computer error. Make them change it on the spot. Leave the food and walk away. They will get the message. If a price changes from two for a dollar to three for two dollars that is a 34 % increase. Don’t buy it. If a box of crackers was selling for one dollar and it goes up to one dollar and fifteen cents, which is a 15 % increase in price. Don’t buy it. Leave it at the check-out. WALMART SUPERMARKETS IS THE TARGET. Less than three percent increase in prices per year.

We are asking Congress to pass a law making it a crime for oil companies to publish next day gasoline prices on the internet or anywhere else. We must break the conspiracy of the oil companies to fix prices. We must stop them from changing gasoline prices up in-lock-step. We must make them compete at the point of sale: the gas pump.

You can help. Join me and millions of other people to build an organization that can monitor prices, and tell you what not to pay for a commodity or service and from whom not to buy it until the price is right. The Internet Free Press will keep you informed.
